Senior Scrub Practitioner - London - Full Time - Permanent - £31,000-£40,000 Ref: AD/HQ00046065

A busy and dynamic healthcare provider in central London are currently looking for an experienced Scrub Practitioner to join their team. This is a Senior role working in complex major general, hepatobiliary, thoracic and bariatric surgery.

You will be a team player and be able to plan and execute the day to day theatre work along with other senior staff. You will be competent in all complex major surgery and able to lead by example. A teaching/ assessing course and/or management course is desirable.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Clinical work - scrubbing for complex procedures
- Supporting all team members including junior staff and management
- Ensure all theatre standards are met; for example, temperature control in theatres

The successful candidate will be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with further theatre related qualifications or an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with a valid NMC or HPC pin number. You must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.

We are interested in hearing from all Scrub Practitioners who have notable experience scrubbing in UK theatres.

The Salary for this position is £31,000-£40,000 plus benefits including 25 days holiday, pension scheme, private healthcare plan, life assurance and an interest-free season ticket loan. Nursing accommodation may also be available.. This full time permanent position will be working 35 hours per week.
