Job summary
An exciting opportunity as arisen within the NHS North East London Chief Nursing Officer Department where we are looking to recruit to the Director of Allied Health Professionals (AHP) role.
As part of the Chief Nursing Officer’s leadership team you will be responsible for:
- Developing and enabling the delivery of the strategic vision around the AHP priorities across the Integrated Care System
- Leading the development and delivery of agreed collective priorities of the ICS for the AHP workforce
- Supporting the Chief Nursing Officer and the Chief Medical Officer in the development and delivery of the long-term clinical and care strategy of the Integrated Care Board (ICB),
- Enabling a greater voice and visibility of the AHP workforce and their contribution to system wide challenges and opportunities
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an exceptional candidate that has a highly specialist set of leadership abilities and skills, with experience of working at a senior level with strategic partners from across health, social care and education systems.
