Spire London East Hospital has a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an Operating Theatre Manager.

Spire London East Hospital (formerly Spire Roding) is located in Redbridge, on the borders of East London and Essex. We offer comprehensive private hospital services, ranging from outpatient clinics and physiotherapy to surgery and diagnostic tests in a relaxed, clean and comfortable environment.

The hospital has 24 inpatient beds and 16 day case rooms called ‘pods’. Facilities include 4 operating theatres (3 laminar flow), an endoscopy suite, 2 extended recovery unit, pharmacy, x-ray, outpatient and diagnostic facilities.

Spire London East have received outstanding in the last 2 clinical reviews which is testament to the well-established operating theatre team at the Hospital.

Duties and responsibilities
The Operating Theatre Manager will monitor and assist in the delivery of patient care and provide appropriate clinical and managerial leadership throughout the department. You will act as a role model and mentor to clinical staff providing advice and support to others to promote good practice consistent with legislation and Spire Healthcare’s policies. You will have the support of the clinical educator and your team leads.
The Operating Theatre Manager will encourage, develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self. You will ensure that Clinical Governance and Risk management are embedded within daily practice and promote best evidence-based practice within own scope of practice.

Who we're looking for
NMC/HCPC registered clinicians - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions
• Have a minimum of 2 years Operating Theatre Manager experience currently
• Experience in transformational leadership
• Communication/organised/role model/showcase excellent patient care etc
