Spire Gatwick Park has an exciting opportunity for an Endoscopy Lead to manage the endoscopy service and lead the team in the provision of care for patients in a safe and caring environment.

Spire Gatwick Park Hospital consists of two outpatient areas, plus a Bupa Health Assessment centre. There are two ward areas with 29 single rooms, two bedded emergency recovery unit with a sixteen bedded day care unit, plus five single rooms. There are three operating theatres - two with laminar flow.

The Hospital is just a few miles away from Gatwick Airport. Central London and Victoria station are a 30 minute train ride away.

Duties and responsibilities
You will lead the Endoscopy Service, ensuring the efficient running of the department whilst helping to provide exemplary planned care for patients across the service. As the department lead you will also look to maximise on Endoscopy opportunities across the hospital through the capturing of inbound enquiries and converting them to bookings.

Who we're looking for
Ideally you will be a Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration. Previous experience with the JAG accreditation process would also be beneficial.

You will have knowledge of endoscopy surgical procedures and be competent across a range of endoscopy skills and work routines, supported by continuing professional development.

Finally effective leadership and management skills, financial awareness and the ability to support and lead a team are essential.
