We have an opportunity for a Lead Operating Theatre Practitioner - Orthopaedic to join a leading private hospital in Northamptonshire.

Are you an experienced Orthopaedic Practitioner looking to move into a more senior role for the NEW YEAR?

If so then this is the position for you!!

This is a FULL-time role for 37.5 hours a week, covering a flexible work pattern

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
Post-registration qualification relevant to functional speciality
Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification [for scrub leads].
Mentorship qualification
Significant post-registration experience within Orthopaedics
Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.

Duties of this role include:
Deliver safe quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
To support, coordinate and actively assist in the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
Provide quality planned care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care by ensuring all team members deliver quality patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership.
Lead in the delivery of patient care, during a list or specified period of time.
Ensure that patient safety checks are carried out in accordance with the policy and that all practitioners adhere to the policy.
Contribute to quality improvement.
Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self.
