Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Operating Theatre Manager working for our client based in Gloucestershire on a Permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be registered either as a NMC Registered Nurse - Adult or as a HCPC registered ODP and have extensive post-registration experience.

You will need to have the following essential skills and experience for the position; You will have demonstrable experience of working in an Operating Theatre environment and either have significant experience as a Deputy Operating Theatre Manager looking for progression or an Operating Theatre Manager looking for a change.

We are also looking for the following desirable skills, but they are not essential for the position; experience within a private hospital.

This position is working within a private healthcare company, you will oversee the day to day running of the operating theatre department which consists of 3 Operating Theatres, Endoscopy Suite and Recovery area. The hospital conducts a range of elective surgeries for both private and some NHS funded patients. As the Operating Theatre Manager you will ensure the operating theatre is well run, well led and meets all legal obligations. You will be supported by the Matron of the hospital and will work with a wider hospital senior management team to deliver outstanding care to patients throughout the hospital.

This is a Full-time Permanent position working 37.5 per week working in Gloucestershire.

The salary for this position is between £45,000 and £52,000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position. On top of this is benefits that include pension scheme, life assurance, hospital bonus, on call payments and much more.
