They have four operating theatres, a spacious 12 bed recovery, two day-stay lounges and a 16 bed ward to accommodate overnight patients.

Essential requirements
· An ability to co-ordinate services across a variety of areas including Admissions, Day Stay and Ward
· Providing after hours support in the capacity of manager on call on a rotational basis.
· Experience in managing patient workloads, staffing, resources and liaison between clinical groups to coordinate a seamless patient experience
· Recent surgical ward or day stay leadership experience (minimum 5 years) across a broad range of surgical specialties.
· Experience and previous responsibility for driving quality improvements and improving clinical practice

Preferred requirements
· Ability to work autonomously and as a team member as the situation requires.
· Experience with quality management including incident investigation, leadership and sharing learnings for improvement with team members
· Some experience in financial management of staff and resources
· Previous experience in the private sector would be an advantage
