Optimising the patient experience – and your career

Full/part-time posts

Permanent/fixed term contracts

Situated on a large, modern campus in south London, we are a busy teaching hospital which is designated as both a major trauma centre and a hyper-acute stroke centre.

Right now we have opportunities for enthusiastic and patient-focused nursing professionals in the Main Theatre Department, which includes 26 operating theatres with two additional theatres opening shortly, and a stand-alone Day Surgery Unit.

We have roles across all theatre areas, particularly trauma, ENT, Cepod and general surgery, as well as specialist fields such as robic surgery, bariatrics and neuro. A 24 hour emergency and trauma service is provided and staff work flexibly to cover this.

A qualified nurse/ODP with proven abilities in operating theatres, you will be committed to delivering high quality care which optimises the patient experience. Proactive and able to manage challenging situations, you will also be keen to further develop your career within a dynamic, hard-working and multi-disciplinary team.
