Experienced practitioners are invited to apply for this exciting post which has been developed to facilitate learning, development and support for operating department practice students and their assessors.

These activities will be focused particularly on learning in the classroom and includes practice teaching. In addition to contributing to the development of others, opportunities are available for you to further develop your own clinical teaching practice to engage in practice development and research projects.

You should be an operating department practitioner, have appropriate assessor and teaching experience, a first degree or willing to work towards gaining a degree and have a commitment to working with both HE and NHS partners. A minimum of three years post-registration experience with evidence of professional development is required. Applicants for part-time options will also be considered.
